Sandhya Kumar
has served as a consultant for Amoha Education (P) Ltd since
November last year. She is responsible for conference
consulting, strategic alliances, marketing and sales as well
as corporate strategy for Amoha's new arm - 7th Edge Events.
Prior to joining Amoha, Sandhya worked with International
Conference Companies outside India where she was responsible
for conceiving successful conference ideas and executing them
profitably. She was also responsible for forming strategic
alliances with corporate partners, leading industry
associations and publications across a full range of industry
verticals including Telecommunications and IT. She oversaw key
sales functions identifying and securing lead clients.
Her expertise lies in creating specialized conferences
focusing on business and technology issues, marketing them,
and executing them globally, creating the right platforms for
business networking opportunities. In the last decade, she has
progressively held responsible executive roles within the
conference industry. With extensive experience in the
conference industry she has strategic oversight and direction
for Amoha's new brand - 7th Edge Events.
She worked with India's leading National daily, The Indian
Express, and was a freelancer
for the Electronic Media. She is a freelance writer for The Hindu,
Chennai's leading daily. She holds a Master's degree in Mass
Communication and Journalism and a Bachelor's in Commerce from the
University of Madras. |
